BET.com strengthened its number-one position ahead of sites targeting African American web surfers by logging an audience of 1,685,000 unique home/work users versus BlackPlanet.com’s 956,000 and BlackVoices.com’s 201,000 at home unique visitors according to an analysis of November statistics from Nielsen//NetRatings. Media Metrix also ranked BET.com at the top of the African American category with 1,096,000 unique home/work visitors in November, ahead of BlackPlanet.com with 534,000 and BlackVoices.com with 99,000.
